On the first working day of each month members who are behind on their dues obligations receive text and email messages notifying them as such. Occasionally, Boilermakers Local 104 will send important notifications via text message to all members as well.
Our texting provider has notified us that, in accordance with the Federal Communications Commission’s new rules surrounding the Telephone Communications Act, they are implementing requirements to opt-in on all text messages. Starting on January 31st, 2024 only recipients who have opted in will receive text messages from Boilermakers Local 104.
Members can log into our texting service by going to the below website or scanning the QR Code above on their cell phone to opt-in to continue to receive text messages. Please note that the texting option will only work if you have a current working cell phone number on file with the hall – please contact us via phone, email or text if you need to update your cell phone number. If you do not opt-in you will not be able to receive text messages from Local 104.
